Attorney Blake P. Hampton, founder and owner of Hampton Law, has earned board certification in elder law from The Florida Bar, a distinction recognizing attorneys who have demonstrated exceptional knowledge, skills, professionalism, and ethics in a specialized area of law. Established in 1982, Florida’s board certification program helps the public identify attorneys with proven expertise in specific areas of practice. Fewer than 5% of Florida Bar members have achieved board certification, making it one of the legal profession’s most respected credentials.

Board certification is The Florida Bar’s highest level of evaluation of an attorney’s competency and experience and is approved by the Florida Supreme Court. To become board certified, attorneys must practice law for a minimum of five years, demonstrate substantial involvement in their specialty area, pass a comprehensive examination, and undergo a rigorous peer-review process.

Blake P. Hampton is a past president of the Lee County Bar Association and currently serves as president of the Rotary Club of Fort Myers South and vice president of the board of directors for LARC, Inc. Hampton was recognized as a 40 Under 40 honoree by Naples/Lee Herald Magazine in 2017. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Florida and his juris doctor from Stetson University College of Law, nationally recognized for its elder law program.
