Fort Myers Beach Arches Location to get State Sanctioned Historical Marker
December 19, 2025 • ServicesOn 12-15-25, the Florida Historical Marker Council APPROVED our request for a State Historical Marker at the original location of the Fort Myers Beach Arches on Fisherman’s Wharf. It will be the 1st Historical Marker on Fort Myers Beach. The sign was funded by Alex King and the King Family Foundation. The project to place the marker is more than 2-years in the making.
This news comes as Lee County officials are reviewing our Development Agreement to install a Commemorative Arch on Fort Myers Beach.
