School Break & Day Camps at Edison Ford (K-5)

When school is out, camp is in session at Edison Ford! No experience is necessary to participate in these fun and fast-moving S.T.E.A.M. (science technology, engineering, art, and math) camps. For students currently in grades K-5, unless otherwise noted. Campers must bring lunches, and snacks if desired. Become a family member of Edison Ford and receive discounted registration!

This session is all about Rollercoaster Engineering! Campers will explore energy and Newton’s Laws of Motion through the design of roller coasters. They will also design marble rollercoasters with marbles of various volume and mass to learn about kinetic and potential energy.  At the end, campers will work with a LEGO coaster as they design the cars that roll on the track.
