Artist of the Month 

Enjoy Monica Lynn’s dolphin photos that she has captured while kayaking along the shores of Fort Myers Beach.  Be sure to check them out on the 3rd Floor Commons Area and don’t forget to cast your vote for your favorite one. The one receiving the most votes will be awarded a blue ribbon at the end of the month. Also join Monica for her informative dolphin presentation on March 30th.

Story Hour

Children’s story time can now be viewed on our Facebook page. A new story posts every Wednesday. Materials for the accompanying craft activity can be picked up afterwards in the Children’s area and completed at home.

Shell Making Activity

Enjoy making a shell craft of your choice such as a picture frame for your favorite photo, small decorative mirror, tissue box or a license plate frame for your car.

Researchers have been examining and sharing the health and psychological benefits of gratitude for decades. For centuries, philosophers, poets, and authors reflected on the feelings of contentment and happiness gratitude can bring. Don’t be left out, join presenter Patrice K. Robson to learn how you, too, can get in the gratitude groove!

Florida’s Historical Places and Museums-Florida History in 5 Weekends

Like to learn about Florida’s history?  DL Havlin, local author and historian, has a “do it yourself” program to help you.  His popular presentation provides a way for attendees to learn about all 500+ of Florida’s historical places.  The state is divided into 5 regions that a person or family can explore individually in 3 day adventures.  Contact info is provided along with some don’t miss recommendations.

Dog Day

Join Chris Williams, CPT with Emeritus Health, for this popular program that Chris teaches in multiple Florida Blue locations.  He will show and explain various strength, posture, flexibility and balance exercises that allows each participant the greatest opportunity to improve their balance.
