“Cool to Be Square” Exhibit Opens January 5 at Fort Myers Beach Art Association

The Fort Myers Beach Art Association presents “Cool to Be Square,” a unique art exhibit running January 5–30, 2026, at the FMBAA Gallery, at 13451 McGregor Blvd. Unit #1 in Fort Myers.

This creative showcase invites artists to explore the challenge of the square format, resulting in a lively mix of styles and media – from bold abstracts to serene landscapes – all unified by their perfectly balanced shape, a square!

The gallery is open Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Thursday through Saturday, noon to 6 p.m.  Admission is free, and donations are appreciated. Visitors can vote for their favorite artwork for the People’s Choice Award.

The 10:00 am talk on Sat., Jan. 10, is free and open to the public at the Fort Myers Beach Art Association & Gallery, 13451 McGregor Blvd., Unit 1 in Cypress Square, Fort Myers.
