Estero Boulevard Hurricane Repairs Update for week of 4/16/26
April 18, 2026 • ServicesEstero Boulevard Hurricane Repairs (Estrellita Drive to Crescent Street) – Construction Project: This project includes repairs of damaged asphalt, curb and gutter, sidewalk, pavement, pedestrian handrail, school flashers, pedestrian signals, as well as the removal and replacement of the center drain brick pavers. The contractor will also replace ADA ramps and detectible warning surfaces.
Flamingo Street to Mound Road
Crews continue work to repair the center drain brick pavers on Estero Boulevard. No lane closures are expected for this work. Please use caution as crews work close to the travel lanes.
Estrellita Drive to Lenell Road
Crews are currently removing damaged concrete, such as sidewalk, curb, and gutter. Extended lane closures are not anticipated for this work; however, motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are encouraged to slow down and use caution.
Drivers, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to use extra caution when traveling through the work zone as workers and construction vehicles are entering and leaving the roadway.
