Let’s Hear It For Pink Gulf Shrimp!
Join the Fort Myers Beach Lion’s Club as they celebrate our local shrimp industry at our annual Shrimp Festival. There will be plenty of ‘pink gold’ or pink gulf shrimp that our area is famous for. Vendors, a parade and other activities are also part of the tradition.
Schedule of Events
Saturday:
- 9AM-10AM – 5K Run
- 10AM-12PM – Parade down Estero Blvd.(Be sure to be over the Matanzas Pass bridge by 9AM Saturday as it CLOSES from 9AM-12PM for the parade)
- 10AM-6PM – Arts & Crafts Fair@ Bayside Park
- 10AM-6PM – Shrimp Crawl at local restaurants
- 1PM-2PM – Queens Pageant
Sunday:
- 10AM – 2PM – Blessing of the Fleet & Pink Gold Shrimp Celebration
- 10AM-5PM – Arts & Crafts Fair @ Bayside Park
- 10AM-5PM – Shrimp Crawl at area restaurants
- 2PM-3PM – Shrimp Eating Contest
