Fourth of July fireworks lighting up the night sky.

COME CELEBRATE THE 4TH OF JULY ON FORT MYERS BEACH
FOURTH OF JULY FIREWORKS

The Fort Myers Beach Fourth of July fireworks show begins at approximately 9 P.M. at Times Square. You can bring a beach chair and and enjoy the show as the beautiful fireworks light up the night sky! Closing time for the Matanzas Pass bridge is 9:30pm-11pm to oncoming traffic. So during that time you can get off the island but not on.

EAT, DRINK AND BE MERRY

There are plenty of great restaurants where you can eat and drink throughout the day. Click here for information on Happy Hours and check out our live music page to see who has entertainment. You might also enjoy taking a boat cruise to enjoy the local wildlife or you may want to visit one of our local parks.

MASKS REQUIRED

Anyone over the age of six will be required to wear a mask if they are unable to social distance. You must have a mask on hand and ready for use whether indoors or outdoors.

Restaurant customers can take their masks off when eating and drinking and people in beauty salons and barbershops can remove their face coverings when receiving services.

FIREWORKS PROHIBITED

The Town Council reminds everyone that fireworks are illegal everywhere and at all times on the beach and throughout the Town even though the state of Florida’s rules are more lax. Read the Town’s ordinance about fireworks. Fireworks are harmful to the large variety of natural resources in the beach environment in addition to being fire hazards.
