Sanibel Captiva Community Bank wins four Best of the Best Fort Myers Community Choice Awards by The News-Press
September 10, 2024 • ServicesFor the fourth consecutive year, Sanibel Captiva Community Bank has been named the Best Bank in The News-Press’ 2024 Best of the Best Fort Myers Community Choice Awards. For a third consecutive year, the bank received the award for Best Mortgage Lending Company and Best Place to Work. Additionally, Sanibel Captiva Community Bank President and CEO Kyle DeCicco was named Best Boss.
The awards celebrate and recognize Southwest Florida businesses in a variety of categories. Nominations and voting took place online over the summer and winners were announced at a gala on Sept. 5.

Founded in 2003, Sanibel Captiva Community Bank now has all eight Lee County locations open. In Fort Myers, at the bank’s McGregor Branch, located at 15975 McGregor Blvd., the staff is operating out of a temporary mobile banking unit due to major flood damage to the existing building. Construction on the new building is underway and is expected to be completed in 2025. A ninth branch is planned on Fort Myers Beach, expected to open in 2026.
