MarkhamNorton Hosts Annual FREE Community Shred Day Event to Benefit United Way

MarkhamNorton Accountants+Advisors is partnering with All Points Mobile Shredding to host its annual FREE Community Shred Day on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 9 a.m.–noon at their newly renovated Fort Myers office (8961 Conference Drive).

Event Highlights

• Free, secure document shredding for the community
• Location: MarkhamNorton’s refreshed Fort Myers office
• Time: 9 a.m.–12 p.m.

Support United Way

Attendees are encouraged to bring voluntary donations for the United Way of Lee, Hendry & Glades Counties, including:

• Monetary contributions
• Canned or non‑perishable food
• New or gently used clothing A United Way representative will be on-site to accept donations and share program information.

Items Accepted for Shredding

• Bank statements
• Tax records
• Contracts
• Blank checks
• Other sensitive documents
• Staples, paper clips, binder clips, metal prongs, and spiral notebooks Rule of thumb: If it tears, it can be shredded.

Items NOT Accepted

• X‑rays
• Three‑ring binders
• Colored plastic sheets
• Electronics (hard drives, cell phones, laptops, computers, batteries)

All shredded material will be recycled to support environmentally responsible practices.
