Artist of the Month Enjoy Adorable Monique’s artwork on display this month throughout the 3rd Floor Commons Area. She is an award winning artist based in SWFL and raised abroad in Central America which has influenced her understanding of art, culture and color. Her artwork portrays the inner beauty of things, the natural environment which represents life and the water that nurtures the land.
Story Hour Every Wednesday on FACEBOOK Children’s story time can now be viewed on our Facebook page. A new story posts every Wednesday. Materials for the accompanying craft activity can be picked up afterwards in the Children’s area and completed at home
Protecting Your Identity Friday, November 6, 1:30 pm, Com Rm A Join Ruben Perales, Financial Wellness Manager at Fifth Third Bank, for this informative seminar. This will also be a Zoom presentation. The link is posted on our website for those wishing to remotely join the presentation.

Operation Paper Clip Monday, November 16, 10:30am, ZOOM Presentation Join DL Havlin, a popular local author and historian, as he talks about how both the US and England vie with the Soviets for control of Nazi German’s advanced technology towards the end of WWII. Escaping Skeletons tells part of the story you haven’t heard. Is a deal with the devil worth acquiring minds like Werner Von Braun? You decide. Meet and Greet the Artist of the Month Monday, November, 16, 2:00pm, 3rd Floor Commons Come converse with Monique about her artwork and vote for your favorite piece. The “People’s Choice” will be awarded a blue ribbon at the conclusion of the month.

Shell Making Activity-License Plate Frame Thursday, November 19, 10am-Noon, Garage Enjoy making a shell craft of your choice such as a picture frame, license plate frame, or Kleenex box. Sample items are on display at the Circulation Desk on the 1st floor.
