The Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce is honored to recognize three outstanding Southwest Florida animal welfare organizations—the Animal Refuge Center (ARC), CROW: Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife, and the Cape Coral Animal Shelter—as shared Gardenia Sponsors for the 2026 Annual Meeting, Community Awards & Garden Party at the Mound House. Their collective support reflects a shared commitment to compassion, community service, and the protection of animals across our region.

Animal Refuge Center (ARC)

As the largest no‑kill shelter and sanctuary in Southwest Florida, the Animal Refuge Center provides long‑term care, rehabilitation, and adoption services for cats and dogs in need. ARC is known for its dedication to giving every animal a second chance through medical support, behavioral care, and a lifelong commitment to those who cannot be placed. Their work strengthens the bond between pets and families throughout the community.

CROW: Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife

CROW has served Sanibel and the surrounding region for more than 50 years as a leading wildlife hospital, education center, and conservation organization. Treating thousands of injured, sick, and orphaned wild animals each year, CROW combines state‑of‑the‑art veterinary care with public education to protect Southwest Florida’s native species. Their mission plays a vital role in preserving the natural environment that makes our coastal community so unique.

Cape Coral Animal Shelter

The Cape Coral Animal Shelter provides compassionate care, medical treatment, and adoption services for homeless and abandoned pets. With a modern facility and a strong volunteer network, CCAS focuses on responsible pet ownership, community outreach, and lifesaving programs that reduce pet homelessness. Their commitment to animal welfare continues to make a meaningful impact across Lee County.
