The 28th annual National Letter Carriers’ Food Drive
May 9, 2020
The 28th annual National Letter Carriers’ Food Drive will be held on Saturday, May 9. This is the one day when letter carriers collect non-perishable food items that have been left by mailboxes. Food collected in Lee County will be distributed by Harry Chapin Food Bank and several other agencies.
Snowbirds leaving before May 9 can help before they go back up north! When they empty their pantries before they leave, they can drop off unopened, non-perishable food items in the lobby of the post office near their home.
